Oriental Salad, or Asian Salad, or Ramen Noodle Salad; by any name it is yummy. It’s usually a base of shredded cabbage or bagged coleslaw with a package of dry ramen noodles crumbled up and added, and a dressing using the seasoning packet from the noodles. Often sesame or sunflower seeds and sliced or slivered toasted almonds are added to lend extra crunch, or crispy chow mein noodles can be added also. A versatile recipe, this salad makes a large batch, and is a staple at potlucks and holiday menus. Enjoy!
